We’re moving to Florida!

Atlanta, Georgia has been a great home to us both for the past 22+ years.

After 31 years of teaching 12,000+ kids, Kathe wants to “wear shorts in the winter” for her retirement.

Well, we’ve gotta go SOUTH for that!

Cresswind Lakewood Ranch community amenities include:

2/5/22 – Why We Chose Cresswind Lakewood Ranch

Kathe is retired after 31 years of teaching.

She has taught over 12,000 kids in her career and has done her part to contribute to the younger generations of America.

She wants to enjoy a slower paced life and no longer cares about the best kid playground awards.

(No offense to our friends and family with kids :))

So we liked the idea of moving into an active adult community, where one person has to be 55+.

It may seem like we’re going to the old folks home already. But not yet!

Active adult communities these days are built to keep all residents active, social and connected.

Since Kim will be working at home for a very longer time than Kathe, she needs Kathe to have things to do 🙂

Preferably outside of the house =:)

Cresswind is one of two, 55 and older communities, in Lakewood Ranch.

We chose Cresswind because it is the smaller of the two communities with 650 homesites.

The other active adult community is called Del Webb and is double the size with 1200 homesites!
