If you ask me where I’m from, I’ll tell you “the Gulf of Mexico!”
I spent the 1st half of my life on the Alabama Eastern Shore, which represents cities lining the east side of Mobile Bay.
My grandmother bought a place in Orange Beach, AL, with its own private beach.
So I visited her place often as a kid and throughout my years.
The beach, bay ways, bridges, and water were just a part of my life growing up.
Meet Kim Wolfe
I actually moved away from the beach for the 2nd half of my life.
The city is where I grew my career and learned about blogging, SEO, and online marketing.
But a beach vacation was always my vacation of choice to relax, relate and release.
So I’ve traveled and toured different beaches over the years!
Mostly on the Gulf Coast.
I like the sand better on the Gulf side than on the Atlantic. I also like the warmer water temperatures of the Gulf!
Here are some of the beaches I’ve enjoyed over the years:
- Orange Beach, Alabama
- Gulf Shores, Alabama
- Pensacola Beach, Florida
- Navarre Beach, Florida
- Ft Walton Beach, Florida
- Key West, Florida
- Pawley’s Island, South Carolina
- Anna Maria Island, Florida
- Longboat Key, Florida
- Coquina Beach, Florida
- Cozumel, Mexico
- Galveston Island, Texas
- Biloxi Beach, Mississippi
Now, I’m entering the 3rd phase of my life.
And I’m back near the beach!
I live in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, minutes from some of the best beaches on the Gulf Coast.
So, of course, I enjoy the beach often!
Kind of like a tourist.
I created The Beach Tourist to share my beach experiences and love and help you make the most of your beach love and experiences too!
I’d love to hear about your beach stories!
Feel free to tell me all about them below in the comments. Or message me here if you prefer a private convo.
